The Life As Shay Report:
See they are gonna have to stop with all this West Coast Connection. It’s a complete and total takeover and I am enjoying the stickup. C(B)ompton, YG and Kendrick Lamar, unite on “Really Be” off YG‘s upcoming debut album ‘My Krazy Life.’ This track is so west coast it’s ridiculous. It’s heavily laced with the signature west coast sound…I was waiting to hear Eazy-E‘s voice on the track, that’s how well they nailed the exact sound and feel of 1990’s West Coast Rap. The song is straight up G-Funk, originating in Los Angeles, characterized by synthesizers, multi-layered melodic tunes, a high-pitched whining key and syrupy flows. Here’s the thing G-Funk music always takes about real-life stuff…they nailed it on that too. MMMHHH When was the last time you heard some ish like this?
Listen to find out why they be “Really Be” (Smokin’ and Drinkin’)
Kick back and light one partna (Hahahaha jk)
