NEW MUSIC: “Pull Up” Jermaine Dupri feat. Ty Dolla $ign & Migos- He Took It There

The Life As Shay Report:

Well, is that you Jermaine Dupri? Creeping back on the scene, I see you. The legendary producers from the late 90’s and early 2000’s are making their way back on the scene and JD can be added to the list.

Jermaine Dupri taps Ty Dolla $ign and Migos for NEW MUSIC, “Pull Up.” The song definitely sounds like some old signature Dupri. Honestly, I was judging the song before I heard it. I was “Oh ok, they want to pull-up on ole girl, I’m sure I have heard it before.”

…But when I took a listen I was like “Woooo Ty Dolla $ign is speaking some real ish…” Mane, they kinda take it there on this song, giving the song way more depth than I expected. Ty Dolla $ign sings about the woman not being happy… “Immature, insecure…he can’t afford, but he working on it. What does that mean anyway?” Welp! He took it there. Migos sounded solid on the track too, wasn’t sure how they would mesh on a more “sentimental” softer-side collab but it works. It’s radio friendly, as is typical of Jermaine Dupri songs and I’m labeling it DOPE!

What you thinking? DOPE OR NOPE?
